When I buy organic zucchini it comes in a pack of two plastic wrapped to a clear tray and I hate throwing the trays out. So when Makayla (1st grade) was assigned a Utilitarian Art project as part of her "safer-at-home" distance learning during this pandemic, we decided to out the trays to good use. Hope you enjoy her tutorial on how to make a simple suncatcher.
Clear plastic plate or tray
colored tissue paper (or tracing paper that you can color on)
glue or Modge Podge
ribbon or string (to hang it in the sun)
Optional - any other bedazzling items that can reflect or shimmer in the sun.
