Very Berry Valentines Smoothie

Happy February! In honor of showing appreciation for our loved ones, Makayla wanted to create a nourishing smoothie we could all enjoy. 

 

VERY BERRY VALENTINE SMOOTHIE

  • 3 strawberries, cut up (for easier blending)

  • 1/4 small frozen banana (freeze in slices for easier blending)

  • 2 Tbsp organic coconut milk (refrigerate overnight to separate healthy fats from the liquid)

  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk (unsweet)

  • 2 Tbsp collagen protein (or other protein powder of your choice)

DIRECTIONS: 

Add in liquids, then fruit then powder. This order will prevent the clumping around the blades. 

 

KETO WHIPPED CREAM:

1 cup organic heavy whipping cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 tbsp Swerve confectioners sugar

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a stand mixer with whisk attachment, add HWC. Whip on medium high until it starts to fluff up. Add in vanilla and sugar and continue to whip on high until fluffy. Top smoothie with a dollop of this whipped cream.
