Strawberry PB Probiotic Smoothie
Makayla loves to be involved in the kitchen with me and now she is really into making "YouTube videos"...even when there is nothing recording her...all she needs is a mirror! This morning after we made a breakfast shake, she wanted to make one for a video so we changed it up to Strawberry and here is what we came up with.
Strawberry PB Probiotic Smoothie:
1/2 scoop Collagen peptides
1/4 banana, cut into pieces before freezing (for easier blending)
1/3 cup almond milk
1 Tbsp organic peanut butter (important to use organic when you can as peanuts are heavy with pesticide use)
Kids need good bugs for their belly to boost their immune systems and help them maintain a healthy weight and combat sugar intake, so adding a probiotic powder to a yummy drink is a great way to help your child's gut health. Collagen protein helps not only with muscles and joints but it also aids in repairing gut lining.
